UNA-USA Affinity Groups allow members to connect with like-minded advocates beyond their chapter or region. Joining an Affinity Group enhances your membership and provides a platform to align your advocacy with the issues you care about most.
UNA Women
Members advocate for UN programs that advance women and girls' rights and promote women empowerment on a global scale. Participation is open to any current UNA-USA member.
UNA Youth Affinity Group
Through networking, professional development, and leadership opportunities, the Young Professionals Network connects UNA-USA members under 30 with like-minded young adults supporting the UN's vital mission.
UNA Global Health
Educates, advocates for, and mobilizes UNA-USA members on critical global health issues — including SDGs related to health, international health frameworks, and health equity globally and locally.
UNA Educators
Members promote the work of the UN and the SDGs in the classroom and share best practices. Open to any current UNA-USA member affiliated with a K-16 education program or school.
UNA Human Rights
An initiative to share and strategize around UN human rights instruments and institutions. A national discussion about bringing human rights home — where they matter most — and advocating for advancement in our community, country, and world.
UNA Climate & Environmental Action
Welcomes any UNA-USA member interested in environmental sustainability. Members attend virtual educational events, hear from activists and UN agencies on topics like sustainable agriculture and renewable energy, and collaborate on environmental initiatives.
